My wife and I have been using MET II and now MET Endurance Orange Smoothie since 1999. We count on MET on our long distance, high altitude backpacks and bicycle trips. We use it to replace one meal along with a MealPac or Pemmican bar. No sore muscels, or leg cramps at night. We don't go into the high country without it.

Athletes place a lot of emphasis on training, yet ultimately, it is the quality of your recovery that determines how quickly you will improve. Good nutrition is what allows you to recover quickly. And good nutrition will give you the power to train harder the next day and reach your potential quickly. The biggest mistake many athletes make is to avoid eating several hours before training.
