I had to find a way to lower the levels. I started taking both Chitosan and Red Yeast Rice. After 3 months, I had another blood test done. After I have been taking this combination for just 3 months, my cholesterol had dropped 40 points. I have had only one test since starting the supplements, so can not say for sure if it was a fluke, or if it truly does reduce the cholesterol level. I do believe it is helping. This was my second batch of supplements, and until I find that my blood test proves differently, I will continue to take this combination. Your results may differ from mine.

(More customer reviews)I have tried both the cupcakes and the cookies, and the cupcakes are much better BY FAR. They fill me up for about 2 hours at a time. They are very small, but so are the cookies. There are less in the pack than the cookies, so you go through them faster.
I have found this program to work for me. I have just been eating one in the morning, one for a snack, then a reasonable lunch and dinner. I have lost 5 lbs in a month.
Are these things the best thing I ever tasted? No. Not by far. Works well for someone whose weakness is sugar and likes to be told what to do to lose weight, rather than work on the food each day and what to eat.

(More customer reviews)I've tried the peanut butter chocolate and the cookies & cream flavors and like them both. Just wish there were more diversity of flavors to choose from for variety in the product line (hint to mfr, consider adding: chocolate mint, chocolate caramel, raspberry chocolate).
Compared to all the protein bars I've looked at on grocery store shelves and/or tasted this is about the best in terms of relatively low calories, relatively low sodium, low sugar, decent number of grams of protein, and candy bar-like taste (some of the flavors in the APEX line of products are pretty similar in that they don't taste like sawdust and chemicals either).
I always read the labels on protein/energy bars and find that generally other brands are super high calorie (hard to burn off unless you're training for an Olympic caliber sport for at least an hour), high in sodium (which make you retain water - not good when working out or trying to lose weight) and dry or fake tasting.
The only other complaint I have on this product - besides wanting more flavors to choose from in the Titan protein bar line - is the price. This is too pricey for what it is. I'd be willing to pay $1.50 or less per bar. Or more like $15-18/box for a box of 12.

Weight Watcher Scale by Conair WW39 Digital Glass Scale Review

(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this scale. I didn't really want one with a clear glass platform, but couldn't find anything I liked the looks of, so went with this. Now I love how it looks on my ceramic-tiled floor. But the important thing is how it weighs. I think it's very good. For all I know, it could be a pound or two off, but does that really matter? All I care about is whether the numbers go down (yea!) or up (boo hoo!). I'm not going to drive myself nuts getting on and off every 5 minutes like some people seem to do. I do, however, always weigh, step off, then weigh again (just my own quirk), and the weight is always exactly the same. I feel confident using it. So I think it functions just as it should and it looks great and the price was certainly right (saw this exact model in a store right after I ordered from Amazon, and it was $8 more, plus tax). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the stupid sticker that comes on it. As others have mentioned, there is a large,very hard-to-remove red sticker showing where you "tap" the scale (the middle of the glass platform) to turn it on. No matter how I tap, the scale does NOT turn on. Instead, I stick one toe under a corner, slightly lift the scale up, let it set back down on the floor and it comes on. Don't let this deter you. It's kind of ridiculous, but no big deal. Overall, I am VERY happy with this scale.

Micronized Creatine Monohydrate Review

(More customer reviews)I have used couple of creatine powders, some pure and some blends but this one exceeds all. Creatine monohydrate is giving me desired results and I am very happy with it. I was unsure earlier about bloating as I had some experience with few other creatine powders i used but this one is just perfect, no bloating at all.
I workout 3 times a week, every alternate day and I made sure i followed the creatine cycle and started with the loading phase and here I am, gained 9 lbs of muscles, not on my tummy though, lol. I am actually surprised to see myself in mirror these days, i see a definite change and i am very happy with it. I have already completed 2 cycles with this product and right now taking a break of 4 weeks before i start the third cycle of 6 weeks.
I am not high on it, I take around 3-4 gms before workout with grape juice and 3-4 gms post workout with protein shake. it worked for me so far :)
One important thing to note, I am drinking at least 9-10 glasses of water everyday, just to make sure i keep myself hydrated and to keep the water intake more thn 80 Oz a day.
Though there are no significant evidences but its not recommended to take creatine with orange juice or anything with citric acid as it wont help as much and will be waste, i will not go deep into scientific theory behind this, google it if anyone wishes to know more about it.
bottom line- Fast recovery, keeps me active all day, no bloating and great gains if taken in a proper way and yes with a good workout.

(More customer reviews)After years using nutritional supplements, I have come to the conclussion that thee less the better. There is currently a lot of marketing to support a multimillion dollar market. The goal is to make people believe that you need all kind of stuffs in order to succeed with your fitness/bodybuilding goals. That is totally wrong! Now I realize that there is nothing more important than this 3 elements:
-food (diet)
-training/exercise program
-rest (sleep!)
Each one is as important as the other.
If at all needed, what I would recommend is:
-1 multivitamin supplement (centrum or similar 1 tablet a day is fine. Please do not go crazy swallowing 10-12 pills a day of those fancy MV, hurting your stomach, pocket and soul)
-fish oil (for the potential CV benefits)
-protein.
this product helps to provide the required protein in case your diet can not provide them. It is not an absolute necessity but handy for those that do not have time to cook 5 meals a day or pay for them in a restaurant. ON is a good brand and their products are like generic meds: priced right, deliver what promised.
Taste is good, mix well even in a shaker (specially with water ---before training for faster absorption---you do not want to go bloated to the gym). I prefer this mix of protein over pure whey protein. I just think is more "natural" for your body.
Just make sure you are not overtraining (common mistake), have enough rest/sleep and eat well. Do not go for fancy pre, post work out, pre sleep, post sleep, intra work out, pre/intra/post defecation supplements(do you get the idea). You would just be wasting your money. You should know what that guy in the magazine really uses (steroids/hormones).
I hope this opinion would help you make a better decision.
