(More customer reviews)I work at home, don't want to take the time to cook and don't care if my lunch leaves me glowing in the dark.
That side, I still want something tasty and satisfying for lunch.
I tried this new Progresso flavor and, overall, I am disappointed. Progresso soups are among my favorites, especially when I eat later in the day.
Usually Progresso soups are very good. Their chicken noodle is a perennial favorite of mine.
Three Bean Chili with Beef misses on a couple of points.
As a vegetable soup, it is fine. Lots of beans correctly cooked. The meat is plentiful and consists of tender little chunks. The broth, however, is thinner than I would like, but not every Progresso soup can be a stew in a can, no matter how much I wish otherwise.
What really comes up short in this one is the attempt to turn a good vegetable soup into chili. All Progresso did was dump a lot - too much, in fact - chili powder into the kettle.
No thanks, though if your tolerance and liking for chili powder is higher than mine, you might like it.
