I watched a show (The Doctors) and was excited to give this a try. I've wanted to have IPL or Fraxil done but do not want to shell out big money for a procedure that requires many treatments with uncertain results. I can definitly justify spending less that fifty bucks for this! It is a little painful and have considered a numbing cream to be more vigorous with the treatments but have so far toughed it out. My skin feels flushed and tender after but I can see some improvement in texture and color, maybe a slight reduction in my crows feet. So far I've used it every other day for about 5 weeks and have discovered that combining a good cream during or after treatments can really help the absorbtion and my skin feels great. I have a broken capillary that almost gone after I combined a vitamin K cream and now I trying the Olay Definity 14 day system after every treatment.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because the needles can sometimes "catch" or "tug" the skin and I'm wondering if the needles are already dull? I also recommend you use a numbing cream as I have yet been able to use it on my nose or around my eyes without hesitation and probably have not received the full benefit because of this. I'm only 29 but have very fair skin that is showing age spots and wrinkles, it is not a miracle device but it has done enough for me to continue using it and I plan to keep experimenting with other creams to get the full benefit!

Collagen Induction Therapy - A Safe, Cost-Effective Treatment for Stretch Marks, Acne Scars, and Wrinkles What do wrinkles, stretch marks, and acne scarring have in common? These are all conditions which have been frustrating physicians and patients in their inability to be effectively treated. Now, at last, a new, non-ablative and effective treatment is available. Not a laser or a deep chemical peel, this exciting option is called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). CIT is a simple procedure that requires minimal down time (no more than four to seven days) and significant, measurable, and sustainable results. How It Works The principle behind Collagen Induction Therapy is simple: to stimulate the body's own production of collagen, thereby reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture. The principle behind collagen channeling using the Collagen Induction Therapy treatment is simple. When it is applied to the skin, under local or topical anesthesia, a sterile roller with very fine needles is used to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin, which stimulate your own body to produce new collagen. These channels also improve the penetration of vitamins A and C creams about 1000 times when using a cream that contains them. But any cream will help in renewal. Vitamins A and C, however, stimulate skin renewal, thereby making the skin appear fresher and younger. Results last as long as 5-10 years or more.
