(More customer reviews)Nearly every week, we hear of new studies emphasizing the importance of Vitamin D, and how its presence or absence impacts our health. I live in the Pacific NW, where Vitamin D levels tend to be quite low, especially among women. My doctor suggested I take a Vit. D supplement when a routine blood test showed a serious deficiency. Vitamin D is needed to process calcium, so it's fairly critical for women especially to have sufficient levels of this "sunshine" vitamin.
Most 1000IU pills or gel caps tend to be quite large. For some folks, the size makes them difficult to swallow.
Not these "micro-tabs." They are very small, making them a good choice for people who have difficulty swallowing the larger alternatives.
While the price is a little higher than some other options, the quality is excellent, and the advantage of their small size might make the slightly higher price worth the difference.
